A Promise

As promised, here are the photos of Calvin's second birthday celebration. We were at Cavite at that time because Leth's dad died. Although we were sorrowful, as Paul pointed out, there are still reasons to rejoice -- and that's only because of the grace of our Lord.

Turning Two

 Here we are posing at the table. We had cakes and home made pizzas.

Table Pose 2. Here we are joined by the host family at the table. Left->Right: Aunt Tessie, Mhac, Calvin, Uncle Anong (brother of Daddy)(husband of Tessie), Leth, and Kakang Auring (Leth's aunt, motherside).

Blowing In the Wind. Calvin could not wait for this part of the ceremony: Candle blowing! If you noticed, Leth is posed to help Calvin blow his candle (just in case he couldn't do it). But it turned out that Calvin wanted to prove that he is old enough to do it. LOL!

Siesta Time. After a heavy meal, it's always nice to let your digestive system take over. Calvin is enjoying the "magic" carpet laid out for him.

Ekel Kulit.  This is ekel (a.k.a. Michael, my namesake), Leth's cousin. Calvin enjoys his antics very much.

Back to Tambo.This is the day after the celebration. Lola joined us in this pix.
